How it works

Clarity Review

See exactly where a paragraph gets foggy, and how to clear it.

Get a better result

  1. Lead with the actor

“Researchers made mistakes” is clearer than “mistakes were made by researchers.”

  2. Cut the throat-clearing

Phrases like “it is important to note that” rarely add meaning.

  3. Prefer concrete nouns

Replace “things” and “aspects” with the specific thing you mean.

How it works

  1. 1

You paste one paragraph from your draft.

  2. 2

An AI model looks for filler, wordy phrases, passive voice that hides who acts, vague words and unclear references.

  3. 3

Each problem is highlighted in your own text and numbered, with a suggested replacement. Your paragraph is never rewritten.

  4. 4

If the paragraph is already clear, it says so instead of inventing problems.

Good to know

Suggestions are advice, not rules. Keep the ones that sound like you, and check that each change keeps your meaning.
